THE MONKEES: DAVY JONES, MICKEY DOLENZ, PETER TORK This guitar is a wonderful piece of rock and TV nostalgia. It's a blue Stratocaster with beige pick guard and "The Monkees" logo, signed by three of the band: Davy Jones, Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork. Guitar signed "Davy Jones", "Mickey" and "Peter/Tork" in blue ink on pick guard. With "OSM" printed on the headstock and in white "The Monkees" label on body. 38¾x12¾. Stratocaster-style guitar with blue body and beige pick guard. Comes with a black fabric case. Formed to star in a TV series (1966-1968) capitalizing on the success of the Beatles, The Monkees did craft some enduring pop/rock hits, including I'm a Believer, Last Train To Clarksville, Pleasant Valley Sunday and Stepping Stone. Allowed only to sing on their first album, they fought successfully to play their own instruments on subsequent releases. The three signing Monkees combined for reunion tours beginning in 1986. Lightly soiled. Parts of Tork's signature hidden by volume and tone knobs. "E" in "The" on label is separating from body. Pick guard is warped in one corner. Otherwise, fine condition. - Please contact us if you have any questions or require additional information. HFSID 280225
